Sheila Firle

PRIMARY THERAPIST

Sheila is a graduate from Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School for Addiction Studies. She has been working to restore families suffering from addiction, mental health, and domestic violence for 25 years.

Prior to entering into substance abuse services, she developed a domestic violence program which included a shelter program, legal support and children’s programming. Serving as the Program Director for the following 5 years, she worked to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and gain support within the community, while being a voice for those who didn’t have one. She took that experience into child protective services, connecting family members with services that would give them the best chance of restoring the whole family.

In 2016, she brought her experience into the treatment of people suffering with addiction and mental illness. She firmly believes in treating these simultaneously, when they are both present. Since then, she has worked with men, women, and adolescents at various levels of care, including outpatient, intensive outpatient, and residential programs.

The common thread throughout her career is an emphasis on treating the whole family. She has a passion for providing hope where hope has been lost, and empowering recovering people.
